Soul Winning and Evangelism Training - Effective Outreach to Seek and Save Lost Souls, Church Growth

Equip and empower your church to seek and save the lost. Experience unprecedented church growth, harvest of souls, and revival now!

Jesus said, "I will make you fishers of men" (Mark 1:17).

Fishing happens usually one of two ways: with a hook and a net.

I liken the net approach to fishing nations, going into all the world to "seek and save the lost" (see Luke 19:10). Yet the evangelist Philip was also skillful in one-on-one evangelism. Being led by the Spirit of God to leave a great revival full of multitudes of people to whom he was preaching in the city of Samaria, Philip was taken by God to Gaza on the backside of the desert to speak to an Ethiopian of great authority (see Acts 8).

The divine appointment orchestrated by God was beautifully arranged, because when Philip arrived and showed up the Ethiopian was already reading the prophet Isaiah from the Bible (see Acts 8:26-29). Philip immediately asked him, "Do you understand what you are reading?" (v. 30)

Interestingly, Philip's evangelistic approach began in the form of a question. Jesus was often no different in His approach. The Lord asked His disciple Peter, "Who do men say that I am? Who do you say that I am?" (see Matthew 16:13,15).

Here are some good soul winning and evangelism questions to use to open hearts in route to salvation when you converse with people on a daily basis.

- Have you discovered the grace of God?
- Have you ever felt burdened and weighed down by sin?
- Have you ever felt guilt and shame, but didn't know what to do about it?
- Do you know how to be reconciled to your heavenly Father and experience the blessings of heaven?
- Have you experienced the embrace of our loving God?
- Do you know the fullness of life available to you in Jesus Christ?
- Have you experienced the joy of newness of life?
- Do you know the Prince of peace who quiets all stress and strife in your life?
- Do you have any questions about God or things I can pray for you concerning?
- What is the best thing and the worst thing you have ever heard about God?
- Have you ever known religion and religious people to misrepresent the heart of God?
- How do you and your family feel about God?

I have experienced the joy of winning souls and equipping God's people throughout the world to impact their communities. As Jesus said, "Launch out into the deep for a great catch" (Luke 5:4).

If your life is boring it's not God's fault. Embark upon the adventure of soul winning with God and experience the joy of winning souls!

Sonia Gandhi - A Woman Of Substance And Power!

It is tough to believe that an Italian born girl will once be the face of a country, of India miles away from her birth place and achieving such extraordinary success. This is not something that any human being can get and more importantly maintain for such a long time. Born in a small village in Italy Sonia Gandhi is now the President of the Indian National Congress and is the longest serving chairperson in the 125 years of history of the congress party in India.

Sonia Gandhi was married to the son of the Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. She was married to Rajiv Gandhi and she has two children. Both she and her husband avoided the public eye and kept themselves out of politics for a long time. There was constant pressure on both of them to join politics from various people in the political world but she managed to maintain a low profile and was more focused on her family. However, she came to public eye after the assassination of her mother-in-law and election of her husband as the prime minister of India in the next elections.

Sonia Gandhi could not be kept under the wraps for very long, after election of her husband, Rajiv Gandhi as the prime minister of India. She was the official hostess of the prime minister and so she had to accompany him to many of his visits to the states. After the assassination of her husband Rajiv Gandhi P. Narshima Rao became the president and the Prime Minister. The congress party then became the ruling party but under leadership of Rao. The fortunes of the party kept dwindling and the Congress had a number of internal disputes at that time.

Then in 1998 Sonia Gandhi was made party member and president. Many leaders of the party opposed her credibility to become the Prime Minister due to her foreign origin and this had caused major rift in the Congress party. She also offered to resign as party president. The people who protested against her finally left the party and formed a separate party. Since congress was no longer in power she was made the leader of opposition and led the no confidence movement against the ruling party, BJP. Congress along with the help from the left formed the UPA that became the ruling party and she appointed Manmohan Singh as the Prime Minister of India.

Being a widow in one of the most respected families of the country this lady has kept herself away from any kind of controversy, everything from her dressing sense to her speech. It is very visible from Sonia Gandhi photos that she dresses very elegantly and is a true representative of the country. Her speaking skills and leadership qualities are also talked of and Sonia Gandhi videos clearly suggest this fact. Being of Italian origin, she has worked a lot on her speaking skills and is now one of the best speakers and leaders in the country.

Darren Beadman Ministers to Others As a Jockey

Darren Beadman is arguably Australia's most successful jockey, but he is also a jockey with the unusual career twist of being an ordained minister.

Darren Beadman's Racing Career: Take One

Beadman's riding career had a flying start when he won the apprentice jockeys' title in his first season, 1982/83. He won the title again in 1984/85, the same season he had his first Group 1 win on Inspired in the Golden Slipper, a race he won again in 1997 on Guineas. In 1990, Beadman won the Melbourne Cup on Kingston Rule in only his third start in the race.

In 1996, Beadman completed the double of winning the Cox Plate and the Melbourne Cup - two of the most prestigious races on the Australian racing calendar. Also in 1996, he took the record of 186 winners Australia-wide and won the Sydney Jockeys' Premiership.

Beadman won the 1996 Melbourne Cup on a horse called Saintly - quite an appropriate name when you consider his next career move.

Beadman Joins the Ministry and Takes the Road Less Travelled

Beadman had been given a nine month disqualification from racing in Hong Kong. On his return to Sydney, Beadman used the nine months to consider his future, and he decided to make a full-time commitment to his faith and the Hillsong Church. The birth of his daughter who is profoundly deaf may also have affected his decision.

Beadman stunned the racing world in 1997 by announcing that he was retiring from racing to become a full-time member of the ministry at the Christian Life Centre at Waterloo, a Pentecostal Christian Church better known as the infamous Hillsong Church.

Beadman Returns to the Race Track and Further Success

The lure of the race track was too strong though, and in 2000 Beadman returned to the track and continued his dazzling racing career. He won further Sydney Jockey Premierships in 2002/03 and 2003/04, and recorded 143 wins in 2004/05 and 152 wins in the 2005/06 season.

These days, Beadman is again based in Hong Kong but still races frequently in Australia. His son Mitchell Beadman is also a jockey. In March, Darren returned to ride Bart Cumming's filly Occurrence in the Surround Stakes - replacing Mitchell.

In April Beadman was compared to the famous jockey George Moore, when he rode Tuesday's Joy at Rosehill's BMV, bringing a tally of three Group One wins from three rides on the mare.

Unfortunately Beadman had a bad fall in a Hong Kong race in October, which meant that he missed the 2008 Cox Plate and Melbourne Cup. He cracked his coccyx (tail bone) and was out of racing for some time while it healed.

Darren Beadman has been inducted into the Australian Horse Racing Hall of Fame and is considered one of Australia's greatest ever jockeys - even though he is currently based overseas. It would seem that although he has changed course over his life, he has discovered his true calling: not as a minister but as a jockey who inspires many others.
