2009 - The year of change

I had the good fortune of the late Professor Geremek, 2005, when he predicted that 2009 was a year of change for Europe to meet with several options, including the European Parliament elections in 2009. He said maybe after Europe, depending on the type of policy decisions for the new leadership capable of brilliance.

The change is in the air with major European countries, UK, Germany and Norway plan to hold elections in 2009. And of course, the European ParliamentParliament elections scheduled for mid 2009 - the biggest transnational elections ever.

But not only Europe, the new leader will have new strategies and new directions for the coming year. The election will take place in the U.S. later this year will be observed closely by people around the world. If the world had a vote in U.S. elections could be the result more predictable. Of course, since most of Asia, Middle East, Europe and AfricaVote. Like the United States is not going to vote in November. As can be seen as a pledge for Senator Barack Obama changes the country needs, while Senator McCain has consolidated himself as a soldier, always ready to fight, in the interest of the country. But the Republican convention, felt the need to proclaim that "change is coming."

Change of leadership in most of Europe, with the cable in the United States to a fundamental rethinking of global policies and measures. Senator Obamaneeds of a distribution of venture capital in clean technologies to $ 10000000000 creating investment within five years and announced an investment of 150 million U.S. dollars over a period of ten years in electrical engineering. This reflects the need to reduce U.S. dependence on imported oil. This obviously would be the U.S. policy in the Middle East in a way that leads to lasting peace and stability in the region.

The Middle East is in itself should be a change inguard. Elections in Lebanon in 2009, to decide on Lebanon's relations with Syria, the future of Hezbollah's weapons and the fate of the Christian population.

The elections are also scheduled in Iran, where President Ahmadinejad, who will run for a second term. The most important question of the election has not been selected for the Iranian nuclear program that the international community is concerned, but internal problems, such as economic reforms and inflation. Iraq also plans to hold general elections in 2009.

In Asia, India, Japan and Indonesia are expected for the 2009 elections to go. The general elections in India is unpredictable. Based on the result could be the direction the country to change radically, both in terms of internal management and external policy and guidelines. Japan also is having a turbulent time as the right to expect that for the first time was a motion of censure against a> The prime minister of the postwar Japanese Constitution in 2008. But for how long the new prime minister last is uncertain, given the fact that for many years Japan has had 10 prime ministers in 15 economic problems in Japan with its rapidly aging and declining population are those that can be easily solved. The topics covered are elections in Indonesia, as well as domestic economic growth, reduce unemployment andPoverty rates.

So in many regions and countries around the world are scheduled to hold elections in the near future. If all these statesmen and women who are capable of leading the world will change to address the main challenges of climate change, poverty and energy? Or just mess with their eyes on the forthcoming elections in the future? 2009 is a year of change is evident. If a year of hope and opportunity, must beseen.
