And though one individual
May say "No!"
God in reply says, "Not so!"
For I can make a man out of nothing
Even the dirt of the ground!
For I can change the speech of man
And create a new sound.
For am I not the God of the impossible,
Who does work with that which is
Invisible?
For My ways certainly
Are not your's,
As Mine are incomprehensible
To the ordinary man
Without spiritual discernment.
Yet from Me comes the learned,
The aged within
Though young in years
And laden with sin.
For I do lessen the burden upon man
And remove the tears.
For My Spirit can transform a life,
A human,
A mere earthly mortal.
For I can take one left for dead
And raise up his head.
I can take from the dunghill
And impart great skill.
So do not limit Me
Says the Lord of hosts.
For in the redemption of man,
I make my boast!
To mankind
My creation
I make a toast
That when you believe in Me
The most
The most high
Destiny draws nigh
Because no matter
How hard you try
Self-sufficiency is a lie
Because no man is an island
Yet there's a God in Zion
Ready to help you through
What you are going through
And lift you too
To help you do
What you want to do
Nothing is impossible
When you believe
Possibilities are all around
With God you will rebound
And mightily abound!
